Number sense can be such a tricky concept for kids. Luckily there are some pretty amazing teachers that have some tricks up their sleeve! We have compiled this free list here, just for you! Read on!
Check out these amazing and COMPLETELY FREE teaching tools for early childhood education or for special education!
These multi-sensory task cards can be adapted to several different sensory integrations! I used play-dough to stretch and match from the counting bears to the numeral, but depending on finger strength or occupational therapy goals, you can change up the material you use. Floam or flubber are also great tools to stretch and manipulate.
Once the task cards are laminated, students can paint the matches with washable paint or just use a dry erase marker.
Another way to use them is to print them on card stock and use a single hole punch and thread yarn or shoe laces through the holes.
The possibilities are endless! I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
